Africa's
Schindlers List One million of
Malawi's 11m population is HIV positive and unable to afford
the vital anti-retroviral drugs that could save their lives.
Africa's Schindler's List is a film about one of only two
clinics in the country that will prescribe these life-saving
drugs. But even for the 3000 Malawians who can get on the
clinic's patient list the costs are prohibitive - equal
to an entire average monthly salary. Africa's Schindler's
List examines the terrible dilemma of one Malawian couple,
a husband and wife, as they decide who should live and
who should die.
